An offsite community center is close by and can be rented for group events, such as family reunions and work retreats.

Get Ready to Relax and Enjoy

The Klamath River abuts the northern edge of the campground, and several boat ramps are located nearby. On-site features include abundant greenspace and 8 acres of natural beauty, plus direct river access for world-class fishing and kayaking.

The campground is adjacent to Redwood National and State Parks, and other parks and the Pacific coastline are short, scenic drives away. The area offers numerous opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, kayaking, paddling, tubing, boat touring, bird and whale watching, and more.

‘O’LOMAH! (Welcome!)

When you visit the Cher’ere Campground & RV Park, you are on the ancestral lands of the Pulikla Tribe of Yurok People. The Tribe has inhabited the Klamath River basin since time immemorial.

Tribal members continue to use traditional resource materials and foods for cultural practices and sustenance. They also participate in traditional ceremonies and make regalia for the annual Brush Dance and bi-annual Jump Dance and White Deer Skin Dance.

To be whole. To be complete. Wildness reminds us what it means to be human, what we are connected to rather than what we are separate from.
